HO SD40T-2 Locomotive with DCC and Sound, D&RGW #5413 (ATH73146)

HO-scale SD40T-2 tunnel-motor locomotive in Rio Grande livery, DRGW #5413, with DCC and Sound. This fully assembled, ready-to-run model recreates the distinctive tunnel-motor look and performance, including nose Mars lights, Stratolight beacon, tall front ditch lights, a large Sinclair antenna, and extended-range dynamic brakes. It packs a six-axle EMD 645E3 engine producing 3,000 horsepower and includes a DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound so engine, horn, and bell sounds can be enjoyed in both DC and DCC operation.

Detail-wise it includes fine-scale handrails, photo-etched windshield wipers, see-through radiator grilles, separately applied air tanks and grab irons, plus RP25-contour wheels for smooth running on most HO track and McHenry operating knuckle couplers. It’s DCC-ready with a 21-pin NM Quick Plug, features an all-wheel-drive drivetrain for quiet operation, and is ready to run on HO layouts with a recommended 22" radius for best performance.
