HO SD40R Locomotive with DCC and Sound in Southern Pacific Kodachrome livery is a detailed HO-scale diesel designed to deliver authentic operation on model railroads. This model includes an onboard DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Econami sound and a single-cube speaker, and runs on both DC and DCC, so engine, horn, and bell sounds can be enjoyed in either mode along with realistic LED lighting. The SP Kodachrome finish, see-through cab windows, finely molded handrails, photo-etched windshield wipers, and an array of scale details add to the prototype's presence on the layout.
