An HO-scale 40-foot Youngstown Door Box boxcar, designed for realistic mid-20th-century freight operation. Based on a late-1960s Fruit Growers Express prototype, this insulated model features 10-foot-wide plug doors for a tight temperature seal and smooth interior loading, making it ideal for depicting temperature-sensitive cargo on period layouts.

Authentic detailing includes separately applied brake wheel and ladders, 70-ton roller bearing trucks, 33-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, and a weighted chassis for steady operation. The model uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, a highly detailed injection-molded body, and is painted and printed to reflect authentic, prototypical schemes, with a minimum curve radius of 18 inches to suit common hobby-track layouts.
