HO 40' Youngstown Door Box, NC&STL #19210 (ATH75340)

An HO-scale 40-foot Youngstown Door Boxcar in NC&STL livery, this model recreates a late-1960s insulated design built by Fruit Growers Express. Insulated walls and 10-foot-wide plug doors provide a tight seal against temperature changes and make loading easier, reflecting its role in transporting temperature‑sensitive freight such as canned goods.

Prototype-level detail includes a highly realistic injection-molded body, separately applied brake wheel and ladders, 70-ton roller-bearing trucks, 33-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, and body-mounted scale knuckle couplers. It is weighted for smooth operation, painted and decorated to resemble authentic NC&STL schemes, and designed to run on layouts with a minimum 18-inch radius.
