HO-scale Thrall High-Side Gondola with Load is a detailed plastic freight car model for HO-scale model railroading. It recreates Thrall’s high-side gondola design and includes a removable load, letting you depict the car as loaded or empty to suit operating sessions and display on your layout.

Inside, the model features wire and plastic handrails, stirrup steps, ladders, and underbody details, along with separately-applied brake gear including a brake wheel, air reservoir, and brake cylinder. It rides on 100-ton trucks with 36-inch wheels and RP25 contours, equipped with McHenry scale knuckle spring couplers. The injection-molded body is weighted for smooth, reliable operation, and the minimum radius for operation is 18 inches. It’s primed for grime, delivering a look and feel of in-service equipment with base colors ready for weathering, making it an ideal starting point for adding grime and rust.
