HO Thrall High Side Gondola with Load, FPPX #2 (ATH7678)

HO Thrall High-Side Gondola with Load is an HO-scale freight model that faithfully recreates Thrall’s high-side gondolas used for coal and bulk shipments. It features a removable load and realistic detailing to bring authentic, in-service look to your layout.

Equipped with wire and plastic handrails, stirrup steps, ladders, and underbody details, the model also includes separately applied brake gear with brake wheel, air reservoir, and brake cylinder. It rides on 100-ton trucks with 36-inch wheels and RP25 contours to run on most HO track brands, and uses McHenry scale-knuckle couplers for reliable operation. The injection-molded, weighted body supports smooth performance on layouts with bends down to an 18-inch minimum radius. Primed for grime models, base colors provide a ready starting point for adding rust and dirt to recreate the worn look of an in-service car.
