HO Scale Dash 9-44CW Locomotive — Sound-Ready CN 2600. This HO-scale model brings the GE Dash 9-44CW to life on a layout, ready to run with built-in sound via a 21-pin DCC plug and pre-installed speakers for authentic locomotive audio.

Designed for authentic operation and display, it features working ditch lights, a road-name-specific horn and plow, see-through cab windows, and finely detailed handrails. Scale details such as sunshades, a frame-mounted bell, exhaust stack, brake wheel, rear sand filler, air tanks, and separately applied grab irons add realism, while steerable or Hi-ad trucks with individual shock struts and brake cylinders deliver smooth, reliable performance on the rails. A 5,000-gallon fuel tank, LED lighting with consistent headlight brightness in both directions, and a 5-pole motor with flywheels and a multi-link drive provide power and presence. Power is delivered through all-wheel electrical pickup and precision gears for quiet operation, and a heavy die-cast frame adds traction. Coupling is authentic with McHenry scale-knuckle couplers, and Quick Plug technology keeps the model DCC-ready via a 21-pin NEM connector; RP25-contour wheels help it run smoothly on most HO track.
