HO-scale ACF Centerflow 2-Bay Covered Hopper is a detailed plastic model for HO layouts, designed to represent the mid-20th-century hopper used to haul dense bulk loads such as cement and sand. The car’s rounded Centerflow body, introduced by American Car and Foundry in the 1960s, provides structural strength and gravity unloading, with a 2,970-cubic-foot capacity.

Authentic detailing includes round or trough hatches, a photo-etched metal roof walk, and separately applied wire grab irons, stirrup steps, and brake wheel. Realistic outlets, a separate brake cylinder, valve and air reservoir with wire brake plumbing, and body-mounted McHenry scale knuckle couplers contribute to convincing operation. The car rides on screw-mounted express-type trucks with machined RP25 wheels, is weighted for steady tracking, and the injection-molded body is painted and printed for lifelike decoration. With an 18-inch minimum radius, it fits a wide range of HO track.
