HO-scale ACF Centerflow 2970 Covered Hopper, BN-marked, is a precise two-bay model that recreates a classic mid-century freight car used for dense bulk loads such as cement and sand. The prototype entered service in the 1950s, and the Centerflow design features a rounded body that provides structural strength without added weight and makes gravity unloading easier.

That realism carries through in the detailing: a photo-etched roof walk, separately applied wire grab irons, stirrup steps and brake wheel, plus detailed outlets and wire brake plumbing. The model rides on screw-mounted express-type trucks with machined metal wheels and RP25 contours, is weighted for reliable performance, and uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers.
