An HO-scale reproduction of the ACF 2970 two-bay covered hopper, designed to haul dense bulk loads such as cement and sand. This model reflects the Centerflow configuration, featuring a rounded body and a 2,970-cubic-foot capacity that supports gravity unloading and strength on HO layouts.

Detail highlights include round or trough hatches, a photo-etched metal roof walk, and separately applied wire grab irons, stirrup steps and brake wheel. It also includes detailed outlets and a separate brake cylinder, valve and air reservoir with wire brake plumbing. Screw-mounted express-type trucks ride on machined metal wheels with RP25 contours and the car is weighted for smooth operation. Body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, a highly detailed injection-molded body, and realistic paint and decoration complete the look, while a minimum radius of 18 inches keeps it compatible with most HO curves.
