HO-scale BethGon Coalporter with Load for BNSF (Road #2) is a detailed, high-capacity coal car designed for realistic freight operations on HO layouts. The model captures the bathtub-style BethGon design with an all-aluminum construction and a trough-style bottom that boosts cubic capacity while keeping a lower center of gravity for steadier tracking in solid unit trains. A coal load is included to complete the scene of a modern BNSF coal movement.

With a newly re-tooled body, the model adds period-correct details such as separate wire-form grab irons and etched metal coupler platforms, a separately applied brake wheel, and multiple road numbers for variety. It rides on 36-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, is weighted for smooth operation, and uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers. The finish is painted and printed for realistic decoration, and the design supports a minimum curve radius of 18 inches, making it suitable for a wide range of HO layouts.
