HO Scale 65-foot 6-inch Mill Gondola is a ready-to-run model that brings a classic General American steel mill gondola to HO layouts. Built to handle long, heavy loads, the design features hinged end panels that fold inward to accommodate overhanging cargo, just as the prototype did in steel-mill service from the early 1940s.

Each model is fully decorated and assembled, with working drop ends, separately applied wire grab irons, interior detailing, and a highly detailed injection-molded body. It rolls on machined metal wheels with RP25 contours for smooth operation on most HO track, while body-mounted McHenry-scale knuckle couplers provide reliable, realistic coupling. A minimum radius of 18 inches ensures compatibility with a wide range of layouts. In real life, these cars carried long loads that extended beyond the car ends, often requiring flat cars at both ends for clearance—an authentic detail this model captures for display and operation on model railroads.
