This HO-scale Old Time 2-8-0 Locomotive, Union Pacific #244, is a ready-to-run model that recreates a classic heavy-freight steam locomotive for HO layouts, delivering an authentic look and dependable performance.

Realistic details include see-through cab windows, wire-form details, a smoke stack, and a boiler-mounted bell, along with bi-directional LED lighting that maintains consistent headlight brightness in either direction. A 5-pole motor with precision flywheels and a multi-link drive train provides smooth, quiet operation, complemented by all-wheel drive and electrical pickup for reliable power. The heavy die-cast frame adds traction, while McHenry operating-scale knuckle couplers and RP25-contoured wheels ensure smooth coupling and stable tracking on most HO track. The model is fully assembled, painted and decorated, with a highly detailed injection-molded body and is designed for minimum 18" radius curves (22" is recommended). It is DCC-ready with a 21-pin plug.
