HO RTR Arch Roof Coach MOW #111947 (ATH86615)

An HO-scale ready-to-run arch-roof heavyweight coach in a maintenance-of-way configuration, this model faithfully recreates Harriman-era arch-roof passenger cars used on 1920s–1940s trains.

Designed for HO layouts, it features stirrup steps, separate grab irons, window glazing, and vestibule partitions, plus a removable magnetically attached roof for easy access. The body is weighted for smooth running and rides on machined 33" RP25 metal wheels with McHenry scale knuckle couplers for authentic handling. Prototype details include RPO mail-hook details on both sides, and the car can be fitted with two- or three-axle trucks per prototype. Razor-sharp paint and printing enhance realism, and a multi-pack option includes a Combine, Diner, and Observation Car to form a classic heavyweight train. The car is about 8.5 inches long and requires a minimum 18-inch radius, making it compatible with a wide range of HO layouts.
