An HO-scale SW1000 diesel switcher in CB&Q livery, this locomotive brings a 1,000-horsepower EMD switcher to the layout for yard and industrial switching. It reproduces the CB&Q version with period details such as dual winterization windows, a firecracker antenna, and early-style cut levers, and is offered in both DC operation and a DCC with sound configuration. The sound-equipped variant uses a Tsunami2 decoder with dual cube speakers for realistic engine, horn, and bell sounds, while the DCC-ready option provides a 21-pin plug for straightforward DCC installation.

On the rails, the SW1000 features a highly detailed injection-molded body, see-through radiator grille and cab windows, and separately applied wire grab irons, plus LED lighting and ground lights for added realism.
