HO SD45T-2 Locomotive with DCC and Sound in the Bessemer & Lake Erie livery is a detailed HO-scale diesel designed to bring authentic late-era power to a modern layout. This model combines onboard SoundTraxx Economi sound with a DCC decoder, delivering engine, horn, and bell sounds in DCC operation while remaining operable on DC. It faithfully replicates BLE’s SD45T-2 conversion with a distinctive cab headlight featuring an upper gyralight, a Leslie 3-chime horn on the long hood, front ditch lights, and a small front anticlimber for an authentic tunnel-motor look.

Inside, the detail runs deep: fine-scale handrails, photo-etched windshield wipers, see-through cab windows, and separately applied air tanks and wire grab irons, all housed in a highly detailed injection-molded body. The locomotive rides on nickel-plated, blackened machined wheels with RP25 contours, powered by a six-axle drive with a 5-pole motor and flywheels for smooth, quiet operation.
