It carries a full front and rear SP light package, a modified L cab window, a P3 horn, GRIP battery box doors, and hi-low brake cylinders to capture the distinctive late-era appearance. The model benefits from modern touches such as bi-directional LED lighting, see-through dynamic brakes and cab windows, and a smooth, quiet drive powered by an updated can motor. DCC-ready with Quick Plug plug-and-play wiring, it’s available in non-sound form or as a Tsunami2 sound-equipped version with onboard decoding and dual cube speakers for authentic engine, horn, and bell sounds.

Engineered for HO layouts, this locomotive rolls on RP25-contoured wheels and Flexicoil-C trucks with realistic details such as rubber MU hoses and separately applied air tanks, contributing to an accurate silhouette. It uses McHenry scale knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible) for reliable coupling and offers full electrical pickup for steady performance on a variety of tracks. Fully assembled and ready to run, the model features injection-molded bodywork with see-through windows and a robust drive for smooth operation. It supports both DC and DCC, with CV options to tailor lighting and performance; the DCC/sound variant includes a Tsunami2 decoder and a CV chart included in the box.
