This HO-scale Union Pacific 2-6-0 Mogul steam locomotive is a fully assembled, ready-to-run model designed for HO layouts. It captures the look and feel of a classic Mogul used on branch lines, giving modelers an authentic Union Pacific engine to power freight and light passenger trains on their layouts.

Powered by a robust 5-pole motor with flywheels and a multi-link drive system, the locomotive delivers smooth, reliable operation, enhanced by a heavy die-cast frame and traction tires on two drivers for extra pulling power. Features include see-through cab windows, separately applied wire-form details, a smoke stack and boiler-mounted bell, plus bi-directional LED lighting that keeps the headlight bright in either direction. The model rides on nickel-plated, blackened machined wheels with RP25 contours for realistic tracking on HO track and is DCC-ready with a 21-pin plug for easy decoder installation. Fully decorated with a detailed injection-molded body and equipped with McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, it’s designed for HO curves with a minimum radius of 18 inches and a 22-inch radius recommendation. Sound-equipped variants add an onboard DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Econami, delivering authentic steam sounds and full DCC functionality in both DC and DCC layouts, NMRA-compatible.
