HO RTR SD38 CCGX 5202 Locomotive (ATH88642)

An HO scale, ready-to-run SD38 diesel locomotive designed to deliver authentic mid-era freight power to HO layouts. This six-axle EMD model delivers about 2,000 horsepower in prototype terms and is DCC-ready with a 21-pin NEM Quick Plug, with an option to add onboard Econami Sound by SoundTraxx on sound-equipped variants.

On the tracks it offers robust all-wheel drive with precision gears, a 5-pole skew-wound motor, and finely detailed injection-molded bodywork. See-through cab windows, separately applied grab irons, and fine-scale handrails add realism, while McHenry scale knuckle couplers and RP25 wheels keep operation smooth on standard HO track. Bi-directional lighting preserves headlight brightness in either direction, and the model is fully assembled and ready to run on HO layouts with a minimum recommended radius of 22 inches and compatibility with common DCC systems and decoder upgrades.
