This highly detailed model faithfully reproduces the General Motors EMD SD38 in 1:87 scale, designed to deliver authentic operation and a realistic presence on your layout. Equipped with onboard Econami sound by SoundTraxx and full DCC functionality, it provides engine, horn, and bell sounds that work on both DC and DCC layouts, along with bi-directional lighting for added realism. The locomotive is DCC-ready with NMRA-compatible connections and can be tuned via CVs to tailor speed, lighting, and sound.
