HO Scale 30' NACC 8,000-Gallon Tank Car, commonly known as the "Beer Can" tank car, is a detailed ready-to-run model that recreates the North American Car Corporation’s compact 8,000-gallon liquid car from the 1970s through the 1990s. Designed for HO-scale layouts, it adds authentic, era-appropriate equipment to small home setups, delivering a believable silhouette and reliable operation on a variety of freight scenes.

Features include a separate manway and vent, photo-etched metal platforms, wireform end and platform railings, separately applied ladders with bracing, and brake gear with air reservoir and brake wheel, along with full underside detail including an outlet. The model rolls on authentic 100-ton roller-bearing or Bettendorf trucks with machined metal wheels in RP25 contours for smooth performance on HO track. Body-mounted McHenry operating AAR upper and lower shelf scale knuckle couplers reproduce prototypical coupling, and the injection-molded body is accurately painted and printed, weighted for reliable operation, and designed for a minimum 18-inch radius, making it ideal for small home layouts.
