HO 60' Flatcar (ATH98080)

This HO-scale 60-foot flatcar is built to handle bulk loads up to 60 feet long, with stake pockets to stabilize lumber, pipe, and other oversized cargos. Rooted in late-1960s practice, these versatile cars became a standard for general service, especially when hauling lumber and pipe.

The model features separately applied end details and a brake wheel, 33-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, and weight added for optimum performance. It uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers for reliable, prototypical operation, and a highly detailed injection-molded body. Decorated and fully assembled, it’s ready to run on HO layouts with a minimum radius of 18 inches.
