HO Maxi-III Well Cars are modern intermodal freight cars for HO-scale layouts, designed to carry two containers stacked in a single car when clearance permits. The well—the depressed section between the wheel trucks—lets a container ride lower than on a traditional flatcar, enabling a double-stack arrangement where space allows.

Features include 33" and 38" solid nickel-silver wheelsets with RP25 contours, weighting for optimum performance, and body-mounted McHenry operating scale upper- and lower-shelf knuckle couplers. The highly detailed injection-molded body is painted and printed for realistic decoration, and an 18" minimum radius ensures smooth operation on typical HO layouts.
