HO Maxi-III Well Cars SP #513984 (ATH98941)

HO Maxi-III Well Cars are HO-scale intermodal freight cars designed to carry two stacked shipping containers. The well between the wheel sets keeps the containers low, enabling a two-stack arrangement on routes with sufficient clearance.

They roll on 33-inch and 38-inch solid nickel-silver wheels with RP25 contours and are weighted for stable, smooth operation. End couplers are body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers with upper- and lower-shelf detail for authentic handling. The highly detailed injection-molded body is painted and printed for realistic decoration, and the model is suitable for a minimum track radius of 18 inches.
