These HO-scale Maxi-III Well Cars come as a five-car set designed to model double-stack intermodal service. A well car features a depressed section between the axles that allows two containers to ride on a single car when clearance permits.

Each car has a highly detailed injection-molded body, with realistic paint and lettering. They roll on 33-inch and 38-inch solid nickel-silver wheels with RP25 contours, are weighted for steady operation, and use body-mounted scale knuckle couplers on the upper and lower shelves. With an 18-inch minimum radius, these cars fit cleanly on most HO layouts.
