An HO-scale Gunderson Maxi-Stack II Well Car set in a five-car DTTX 'TTX' configuration. This intermodal model reproduces the distinctive Maxi-Stack II design used for double-stack container traffic, making it a realistic centerpiece for HO layouts that feature intermodal trains.

Built with a heavy cast-metal frame for durability whether loaded or empty, this Genesis-line model also includes etched stainless-steel walkway platforms, separately applied brake and trainline details, bent-wire grab irons, and animated roller bearings on the 70- and 125-ton trucks, plus rubber inter-car trainline hoses. The Maxi-Stack II configuration recreates the flexible end-well and middle-well arrangement—40-foot end wells reinforced to carry 20-foot containers and longer central wells able to accommodate 48-foot containers—delivering authentic proportions and loading versatility for realistic loaded or empty runs.
