HO Scale CB&Q ICC Caboose with LED Lighting is a ready-to-run model that captures the distinctive late-era caboose used by the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy on ICC-era trains. It features roadname- and road-number-specific detailing with laser-sharp painting, an interior that accommodates crew figures, see-through end platforms, etched metal window screens, and full underframe detail. LED interior and marker lighting with brightness control, powered by an on-board DCC decoder, allows operation in both DCC and analog layouts. Machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, together with a weight-balanced body and body-mounted scale knuckle-spring couplers, help ensure smooth, prototypical operation on HO track.

Designed for HO layouts, this caboose ships ready to run out of the box and is offered in multiple road numbers for prototype variety. It includes details such as wire-form grab irons, etched coupler platforms, trainline hoses, brake hoses, and full underframe hardware, plus an 18" minimum radius to fit common layouts. The DCC lighting features are NMRA-compatible in DCC mode, and sound-equipped variants can add authentic effects like air horn, wheel clack, and brake sounds when paired with a compatible decoder, bringing the rear-end of the train to life.
