Based on prototype drawings and field measurements, this smooth-sided reefer carries authentic detailing such as see-through protective screens on the ends, see-through end platforms, and an inner refrigerator bulkhead, giving a realistic presence to freight trains on any layout.

Built for reliable HO-scale operation, it features full underframe detail with Keystone cushioning, air brake components, and a fuel tank, plus machined metal wheels with RP25 contours on 100-ton roller bearing trucks for smooth, trouble-free running. It arrives fully assembled with factory end ladders and door closure rods, trainline hoses with silver ends, and a variety of prototype options including three styles of coupler cut levers and either body- or truck-mounted brakes to match different eras. Repaints and road numbers vary for realism, and versions exist with onboard sound (low-power, volume adjustable) or primed-for-grime finishes for weathering.
