This HO-scale 57-foot mechanical reefer in BNFE Green is a ready-to-run model of a postwar refrigerated freight car for HO layouts. Scaled from prototype drawings and field measurements, it captures era-specific details such as see-through protective end screens, end-wall corrugation visible inside, and an inner bulkhead. Repaints can vary by road number, affecting the size and style of reporting marks and car numbers. The model is available with onboard SoundTraxx sound for authentic refrigeration noises, and two exhaust stack styles—straight pipe with a flapper and a T-shaped “smokejack”—reflect prototype variations of the era.

Inside, the car features full underframe detail including Keystone cushioning, air-brake hardware, control valves, brake cylinders, brake plumbing, and a fuel tank.
