The model features a highly detailed injection-molded body, full underframe detail with Keystone cushioning, air-brake components and a fuel tank, and 100-ton roller bearing trucks with rotating bearing caps. It includes factory-installed end ladders, door closures, see-through end screens, and trainline hoses with silver ends, plus McHenry scale-knuckle couplers for authentic operation. Two exhaust stack styles mirror prototype variation, and it can be equipped with onboard sound that plays authentic reefer audio with adjustable volume. The Primed for Grime variant provides a faded base color ideal for adding grime and rust, while its ready-to-run construction ensures smooth performance on HO layouts with a minimum 18-inch radius (22 inches recommended).
