HO-scale EMD SD70ACU Locomotive with DCC & Sound CP Military Tribute Set is a five-locomotive collection honoring the armed forces with five distinct military-inspired paint schemes. Fully assembled and ready to run, these DCC-equipped models feature onboard SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound and dual cube speakers for authentic engine, horn, and bell effects on HO layouts.

Designed for HO-track operation, the locomotives deliver realistic detail and performance: illuminated truck lights and illuminated number boards, see-through air intakes, a full cab interior with windshield wipers, and other fine exterior touches. They ride on a heavy die-cast frame with eight-wheel drive and precise gearing for smooth, quiet operation, plus all-wheel electrical pickup and RP25 wheels for reliable current. Minimum curve radius is 18 inches (22 inches recommended). The five units wear separate military-themed schemes, including D-Day camouflage and Allied invasion stripes, with CP 7030 featuring Lord Strathcona’s Herald. Sound-equipped versions include onboard DCC decoders with SoundTraxx Tsunami2, dual cube speakers, and operation in both DC and DCC modes; in DCC mode, full function control and CV adjustments are available, and a CV chart is included to customize performance and MU lashups.
