HO GE Dash 9-44CW Locomotive QNSL #404 (ATHG-1208)

HO-scale GE Dash 9-44CW locomotive in QNSL #404 is a premium Genesis model designed to bring authentic North American freight operation to HO layouts. This highly detailed locomotive captures the Dash 9-44CW's rugged profile with features such as illuminated ground lights above the front trucks, front and rear walkway lights, and number boards, plus etched, see-through walkway steps and a full cab interior visible through see-through cab windows. The model rides on a heavy die-cast frame for authentic weight and pulling power, while RP25 wheel contours and body-mounted scale knuckles deliver smooth operation on standard tracks. Fine-scale Celcon handrails and other prototype details further enhance realism.

Sound-equipped versions add an onboard DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 and dual cube speakers for realistic engine, horn, and bell audio that works in both DC and DCC. The DCC-ready configuration uses Quick Plug plug-and-play technology with a 21-pin NEM connector for easy digital setup, while many functions are NMRA-compatible and adjustable via CV changes (a CV chart is included). Built from prototype resources with accurate paint schemes, the model features a multi-link driveline, a 5-pole skew-wound motor, all-wheel drive and electrical pickup for steady performance. Minimum radius is 18 inches, with 22 inches or more recommended; the packaging securely holds the model for safe storage.
