Inside, the model rides on a heavy die-cast frame with Blomberg-B trucks and RP25 wheel contours for steady, quiet operation and reliable current pickup. It features a Genesis driveline with a 5-pole skew-wound motor, precision flywheels, and a multi-link drivetrain for smooth pulling power, plus body-mounted scale knuckle couplers that are Kadee-compatible. DCC-ready Quick Plug plug-and-play technology accepts a 21-pin NEM connector, and sound-equipped versions add an onboard DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 and dual cube speakers for engine, horn, and bell sounds with full DCC capability. Prototype accuracy extends to roof access hatches on non-dynamic units, correct bell placement, detailed fuel tanks with gauges and breather pipes, etched radiator and fan grilles, and a see-through cab interior. The model is designed for an 18-inch minimum radius layout, and a CV chart is included to tailor performance and sound.
