HO GP7 Locomotive EL 1207 is a detailed HO-scale model of EMD’s GP7 diesel, designed to capture the distinctive profile of the late-1940s switcher. It features see-through cab windows with a full interior, fine-scale Celcon handrails, etched radiator and fan grilles, and other prototype-accurate details like lift rings and wire grab irons. The model rides on Blomberg-B trucks with bearing caps and uses RP25 wheel contours for smooth operation on most HO track. A Genesis driveline with a 5-pole skew-wound motor and all-wheel drive delivers quiet, steady pulling power, while body-mounted scale knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible) ensure reliable, prototypical coupling.
