HO GP7R Locomotive with DCC and Sound is an HO-scale replica of EMD's GP7R rebuilt switcher, designed to bring authentic diesel operation to a modern layout. It includes a DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2, dual cube speakers, and full DCC functionality, with engine, horn and bell sounds working in both DC and DCC modes. See-through cab windows reveal a detailed interior, and accurate paint schemes capture prototype appearance.

Built for durability and smooth running, it features a heavy die-cast frame, Blomberg-B trucks, etched grills, and Celcon handrails, plus a Genesis driveline with a 5-pole motor for steady power and RP25 wheels for reliable tracking. It uses body-mounted, scale-knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible) and a Quick Plug 21-pin DCC interface for easy setup. Designed for HO layouts with a minimum radius around 18 inches (22 inches recommended), this GP7R offers road-number variations with authentic, prototype-inspired liveries.
