HO GP18 Locomotive with DCC & Sound, CNW #1777 (ATHG-1370)

An HO-scale GP18 locomotive with DCC and sound, CNW 1777, brings the prototype to HO layouts with authentic detail and operable performance. This model is designed for realistic operation on standard HO track, working with both DC and DCC control to deliver convincing engine sounds, horn, and bell as you run it on your layout.

The locomotive features a heavy die-cast frame and Genesis driveline for strong traction and smooth, quiet operation, plus see-through cab windows that reveal a full cab interior. Fine-scale Celcon handrails, etched grills, and body-mounted scale knuckle couplers enhance realism, while a DCC-ready Quick Plug 21-pin NEM connector and onboard SoundTraxx Tsunami2 decoder power dual speakers for clear, room-filling sound. In DC or DCC, all functions are NMRA-compatible and speed control is precise, with the ability to program MU lashups and adjust CVs (CV chart included). Road-number specific CNW details such as late walkway, large fuel tank, winterization hatch, and dual horns are represented to mirror the prototype. Minimum radius is 18 inches, with 22 inches recommended for optimum smoothness.
