It features an onboard DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 and two cube speakers for realistic engine, horn, and bell sounds, with full DCC functionality and NMRA-compatible control. The locomotive runs on both DC and DCC and includes CV-based tuning for precise throttle response and lighting. A heavy die-cast frame, RP25 wheel contours, and all-wheel drive deliver solid traction and smooth, quiet operation, while see-through cab windows and a full cab interior enhance realism. Body-mounted McHenry scale knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible) and reliable electrical pickup support steady, trouble-free operation on common HO track.
