HO 13K Gallon Acid Tank Car (ATHG-1441)

HO scale 13,000-gallon acid tank cars bring authentic chemical freight to HO layouts, offering two body configurations to mirror early and late prototype variants. The design includes differing top platforms and separate wire grabs and handrails for a faithful, scale-accurate profile.

These models deliver prototypical detail from end to end: underframe components such as air brake reservoir, control valve, and brake cylinder with plumbing; etched metal walkways and varied end sills; and a full set of small fittings like coupler lift bars, trainline hoses, brake hoses and other hardware. The cars ride on machined metal wheels with RP25 contours for smooth operation on most HO track, and the trucks feature rotating bearing caps with body-mounted scale double-shelf knuckle couplers. Multiple road numbers and pack configurations support realistic consists, while a minimum turning radius of 18 inches keeps operation compatible with a wide range of HO layouts.
