N 13K Gallon Acid Tank Car (ATHG-1475)

The N 13K Gallon Acid Tank Car is a finely detailed model that captures the essence of freight transport. This tank car is part of the PROX series, featuring design numbers 15284, 15315, and 15377. It boasts innovative F “double shelf” McHenry couplers, which are a first for N Scale. The model includes rubber trainline hoses and full underbody detailing, including brake and train line piping. It showcases two different body phases – early and late – along with varied brake systems according to the prototype specification.

This tank car is engineered to meet NMRA RP-20.1 recommended practices, ensuring optimal performance on your layout. The wheels are machined from metal with RP25 contours, allowing them to operate on Code 40, 55, and 80 track. Additionally, the model includes separately applied metal grab irons, handrails, and coupler cut levers.
