HO GP7u Locomotive, Ex-ATSF Patched, Unlettered/Unnumbered is an HO-scale model built to faithfully reproduce Santa Fe’s GP7 units rebuilt and patched for continued service. Available in an Ex-ATSF patched scheme or an undecorated variant, this locomotive is ready to be decorated with your own road numbers. The patched version reflects prototype details such as a nose-mounted headlight, four exhaust stacks, a Nathan K3LA horn on a bracket, a cab air conditioner, and a large Sinclair antenna with ground plane, delivering an authentic Ex-ATSF appearance.

Inside, the GP7u delivers solid performance and authentic operation with a Genesis driveline featuring a five-pole skew-wound motor, precision flywheels, and a multi-link drivetrain, plus all-wheel electrical pickup for smooth power delivery. It rides on Blomberg-B trucks with scale-knuckle couplers and RP25 wheels for reliable tracking on popular HO layouts, backed by a heavy die-cast frame for traction. LED lighting and see-through cab windows with a full cab interior add realism, while DCC-ready Quick Plug 21-pin connectors make decoder upgrades straightforward.
