HO GP7u Locomotive – Undecorated is a detailed HO-scale diesel switcher designed for hobbyists who want a blank canvas to paint and letter to their chosen railroad. The model captures the GP7u’s classic silhouette with a heavy die-cast frame, Blomberg-B trucks, see-through cab windows and a full cab interior, etched metal radiator and fan grilles, and fine-scale handrails for a convincing, prototype-accurate look. It rides on RP25-contoured wheels and body-mounted scale knuckle couplers for smooth operation on common HO track, while LED lighting adds realism in daylight or low-light settings. It’s DCC-ready with Quick Plug plug-and-play technology using a 21-pin NEM connector, making decoder installation straightforward, and the design supports HO-layout curves with a minimum radius of 18 inches.

As an undecorated model, it serves as a versatile canvas for a custom railroad identity. The base undecorated features include non-dynamic operation, nose-mounted headlight, four exhaust stacks, a Nathan K3LA horn on a bracket, a cab air conditioner, and a large Sinclair antenna with ground plane; detail parts not listed are not included, giving plenty of room to personalize.
