HO GP7u Locomotive with DCC & Sound is a detailed HO-scale GP7u switcher designed for authentic, versatile operation on modern layouts. It combines a DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound, a heavy die-cast frame, and a Genesis driveline for quiet, smooth pulling power. All-wheel drive and RP25-contoured wheels deliver reliable traction across tracks, while see-through cab windows with a full interior, etched radiator and fan grilles, and faithfully painted detailing reproduce the prototype. Body-mounted scale knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible), LED lighting, and a detailed fuel tank and air tanks further enhance realism. DCC-ready Quick Plug plug-and-play technology with a 21-pin NEM connector makes wiring or decoder swaps straightforward, and the model is designed for HO layouts with an 18-inch minimum radius, offering flexible placement in yards, branches, and mainline runs.

Sound-equipped variants add onboard DCC decoding with Tsunami2 sound and operate on both DC and DCC layouts, with engine, horn, and bell sounds active in DC.
