HO UTC 33K LPG Tank Car, Late TEIX is a highly detailed HO-scale model representing a 33,000-gallon LPG tank car in the late TEIX configuration. It offers multiple road numbers for fleet variety, with unique numbers across singles and 3-packs, and captures the car’s design evolution with three body phases: early, flat panel, and late.

Inside this model are authentic details such as separately applied walkway platforms, manways, outlets, ladders, brake rigging, and safety rail supports, plus tank saddles. The underframe is fully modeled, with either body-mounted or truck-mounted brakes as per the prototype, and 100-ton trucks featuring animated rotating bearing caps. The car is painted and printed for prototypical realism, with photo-etched metal walkways, wire end rails, end handrails, printed placards, and body-mounted McHenry scale double-shelf knuckle couplers.
