HO-scale Center Flow 3-bay Covered Hopper, Primed for Grime, reproducing American Car and Foundry’s mid-1960s bulk-car design with an in-service weathered look. This detailed model is ideal for HO layouts depicting grain service fleets and provides a ready-to-weather base for adding grime and rust to match a prototype roster.

Three body styles mirror the car’s evolution—from early versions with a high side ladder and brake wheel to later versions with double side stiffeners—while features include round or trough hatches, a photo-etched roofwalk, and separately applied wire grab irons, stirrup steps, and brake wheel. The model includes a separate brake cylinder, valve and air reservoir with wire brake plumbing, screw-mounted trucks, and body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers. Weighted for smooth operation, it rides on Genesis 100-ton trucks with 36-inch machined metal wheels and animated spinning roller bearing caps, and is designed for HO layouts with a minimum 18-inch radius. The injection-molded body is accurately painted and printed, delivering a highly detailed in-service grain hopper that serves as a convincing weathering project for grain trains and similar bulk-service scenes.
