This highly detailed HO model reproduces American Car and Foundry’s mid‑1960s 3‑bay Center Flow hopper designed for grain and bulk freight. With its rounded body that enables gravity unloading and eliminates the traditional center sill, it’s a prototypical addition for grain-train scenes on HO layouts. The undecorated Phase II finish provides a versatile canvas for weathering to match a specific railroad's look.

Authentic detailing includes three body styles (early, mid, and late) with varying ladder and brake-wheel arrangements, round or trough hatches, a photo-etched roofwalk, and separately applied wire grab irons, stirrup steps, and brake hardware. The model rides on screw-mounted trucks with body-mounted McHenry scale-knuckle couplers and is weighted for smooth, dependable operation. Genesis 100-ton trucks with 36-inch machined metal wheels and spinning roller-bearing caps add realism to tracking. Accurate painting and printing, plus a highly detailed injection-molded body, complete the package.
