HO Scale Southern Pacific Cascade Pullman Chair Car, Class 77-C-3, is a detailed replica of a 1937 Pullman Standard passenger car used on Southern Pacific’s Coast Daylight. It’s designed for HO-scale layouts, letting hobbyists recreate authentic-era passenger trains with a true-to-life look and feel.

Inside and out, the model features period-accurate interior colors that vary by road number—apricot or seafoam green walls with seats in dark rose, turquoise, or forest green—along with full underbody detail, operating diaphragms, and McHenry scale knuckle-spring couplers. The body can be skirted or de-skirted to match the prototype, and LED interior lighting provides constant illumination. Trucks are offered in friction or roller-bearing variants, and a minimum 24-inch radius ensures smooth operation on typical HO layouts. Based on the 1937 Pullman Standard design, SP Cascade chair cars were built for the Coast Daylight and later appeared in other SP schemes, such as silver with a red band, serving in trains like the Lark and Golden State before Amtrak.
