HO 77' Pullman Chair Car SP General Service Plastic Model (ATHG-1547)

An HO-scale Southern Pacific 77-foot Pullman chair car in General Service livery is a detailed plastic model designed to bring authentic SP passenger trains to HO layouts. Representing the Class 77-C-3 chair car from the late 1930s, it serves as a natural centerpiece for Coast Daylight-era consists or other Southern Pacific passenger services.

Inside, the model features period-accurate colorwork with more accurate seat, floor, and vestibule tones; apricot or seafoam green walls and seats in dark rose, turquoise, or forest green depending on the road number. It includes full underbody detail, operating diaphragms, and McHenry scale-knuckle couplers, with the option for a skirted or de-skirted body to match the prototype. LED interior lighting provides constant illumination, and trucks mirror the prototype with friction- or roller-bearing options. The design traces back to 1937 Pullman Standard construction and the car's service history on trains such as Coast Daylight, the Lark, and the Golden State, with some units later appearing in SP's general-service silver-and-red scheme before the Amtrak era.
