An HO-scale 33K LPG Tank Car in the early-service configuration, modeled to reflect UTC’s LPG car with MBLX 34289. This high-detail replica is designed to add authentic realism to a layout, featuring separately applied walkway platforms, manways, outlets, ladders, brake rigging detail, safety rail supports, tank saddles and a brake wheel, plus printed placards. It is weighted for steady operation and uses double-shelf knuckle couplers, with accurate painting and printing to match prototype appearance. The design includes three body phases—early, flat panel, and late—and multiple road numbers to reflect variations across the fleet.

Beyond the basics, the model incorporates photo-etched metal walkways and end platforms, wire safety rails and end handrails, screw-mounted 100-ton roller bearing trucks, machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, and a highly detailed injection-molded body. It will run on all popular brands of track and negotiates a minimum radius of 9 3/4 inches, making it compatible with most HO layouts. Primed for grime, base colors are faded to resemble in-service equipment, providing an excellent starting point for weathering with grime and rust to match a specific era or scene.
