Introducing an N-scale 33,000-gallon LPG tank car designed for UTC service. This detailed model brings a realistic LPG tanker onto an N-scale layout, perfect for building a prototypical UTC roster and adding variety to operations.

Three body styles—early, flat panel, and late—capture the car’s evolution, with multiple road numbers and options for singles or three-packs to create authentic operating scenarios. The model features separately applied walkways, manways, outlets, ladders, brake rigging, safety rail supports, tank saddles and brake wheels, plus printed placards and double-shelf knuckle couplers for authentic appearance. It rides on screw-mounted 100-ton roller bearing trucks with machined RP25 wheels, while photo-etched walkways, end platforms, wire safety rails, and end handrails enhance the level of detail. The car is designed to run on all popular brands of track and on curves with a minimum radius of 9¾ inches. For diorama-ready realism, a grime-ready finish replicates the look of in-service equipment, with faded, dull-coated base colors and a ready starting point for adding grime and rust.
