HO SD70M Locomotive with DCC and Sound Legendary Liveries WP #3707 (ATHG-1622)

HO SD70M Locomotive with DCC and Sound in Legendary Liveries is a detailed HO-scale model built for realistic operation on modern layouts. It combines a powerful SD70M chassis with a DCC decoder and SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound, delivering authentic engine, horn, and bell audio that works in both DC and DCC modes, with full DCC functionality when used on a DCC layout. The locomotive is DCC-ready with Quick Plug plug-and-play technology and a 21-pin NEM connector for easy installation. A heavy die-cast frame provides powerful traction and a smooth, quiet pull, while LED lighting, see-through cab windows with a full interior, and body-mounted scale knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible) add to the realism. RP25-contour wheels help ensure reliable operation on common HO track, and the model is carefully detailed to reflect prototype finishes.

Legendary Liveries offers authentic, historically inspired paint schemes that appeal to collectors and hobbyists alike. The design is primed for grime, providing a convincing in-service look and a ready canvas for weathering effects such as grime and rust. Road-name variant detailing captures prototype differences, including front ditch lights, radiator and fuel-tank configurations, and horn styles across multiple versions. For layout performance, there is a minimum 18-inch radius with a recommended 22-inch radius to ensure smooth curves, while the model's power, lighting, and detailed features deliver a compelling, realistic HO-operation experience.
